THIS BOOK IS NOT OUT YET! that is one reason why I read, it also because it sounded really interesting. The main characters are: Mousebeard, Lovelock, Emiline, Portly (a mouse), Drew shank, Shire, and Scratcher.

This book sounds like any other normal book, but unfortunately not. And as a librarian's daughter you can believe me. This book is about a girl (Martine), a Grandma (Gwyn), a game warden (Alex), a old women (Grace), a young man (Tendi), and a white giraffe (Jemmy).

This book is 189 pages long! I would give it five out of five stars(*****). I chose to read this book because you don't go to the library every day and see a book called "The White Giraffe" on the shelf!

Savvy (*****)

This book is very interesting because the girl gets a special "power" when shes' thirteen! Well she expected her "savvy (or power)" to being able to fly or turn invisable, boy she did not get any of those powers she got a todal diffrent "savvy".

This book is 341 pages long. I would give this book five out of five stars(*****) because it was action packed and it would make you really worried then all of a sudden the problem that made you worried would get fixxed. I read this book because the title sounded interesting.

This book is about a earth quake happening to a small Island called mollsuke. This Island is named after it's people the mollsukes. The earth quake happens in early mournning. when it causes the lagoon to turn dark red and the mermaids ferusias the mollsukes try to battle but onley get bad luck and mermaid bits. I liked the book because: it had lots of exciting daring things.

I just fineshed RETURN TO GONE AWAY LAKE. I thought this book was good because it had very exciting charecters. My favorite charecter is Portia, she is a fun charecter. Her best couison is a bright,sparky boy who is very adventurest and daring.


I would give this book three out of five stars(***). It was 212 pages long.

Two reasons I read this book are: I read the first book and I wanted to read the next book. It's title is GONE AWAY LAKE. Anotherreason is that the title sounded interesting.

This book was very exciting.s I liked the characters and that their was a lot of action. I would change the thing Griffen wanted from a babe ruth base ball card to some type of gem or a neckalace. My favorite characters were Savannoh and Pitch because Savannoh really likes animals just like I do. and pitch because she is adventurous

The Baby-Sitters Club: Mary Anne Saves the Day (* * * *)

I just finashed MARY ANNE SAVES THE DAY. I'm still new to graphic novels. A graphic novel is a type of book, kind of like a comic but it has chapters like a normal chapter book.

I liked the book because it has dialogue - which means the story is told by people talking. It is surprizing in the book because the girls get in a fight and they do nat talk to each other for a long time.

I loved the picures and the happy ending. My favorite characters were Mary Anne and Dawn. I will give it four stars ( * * * *). I hope you read this wonderfull book too. the book is 158 pages. It went fast.

This is my first time ever doing a blog. I'm in fouth grade and I read some really good books.
I will tell you about them on this blog. The most recent one i've read is called THE WILLOUGHBY'S by Lois Lowry. I would give it three out of five stars (* * *). It was a good book because it had a happy ending , but two people almost died but they ended up liveing! Hope it sounds interesting enough to you that you would read it!
