Wild Magic (*****)

This book is about a brother and sister who get enchanted by the pied piper's music. They live in Hamelin, and it is overrun with rats. The mayor promises him one thousand gold coins if he can get all of the rats out of the town, which he does and the mayor does not pay him, so he takes all of the children into Elvendale, which is a magical world. Jacob gets left behind because he has a cripple, the door closes and Jacob cannot go in any more. The pied piper has a curse to turn into a horrible, ugly mean beast every night of the full moon. He can only pass it on to a certain child. This child happens to have been left behind. When he does pass the curse what will the victim turn into under the full moon? Read the book to find out!

I'll give this book five out of five stars! It was 278 pages long.

Emma - my post doesnt have to do with Wild Magic, but to thank you for recommending Fabelhaven by Brandon Mull. My boys and I finished the first book last week and they absolutely LOVED it. We went back to Barnes and Noble this weekend to get Books 2 and 3. My son, Finn, is so excited to get started on book 2 but we're making him wait until we leave for Italy in early April. He's going to need something to read on the long plane ride.

Thank you so much for your fantastic reviews and picks. You are wonderful.
