Fern's parents are botanists, they work with plants. Fern is not very happy about this, especially when they had named her after the only plant her father studies, ferns. When her mother disappears mysteriously during a mission to save the silver rose Fern gets suspicious.

I love the title of this book. Even though you can't judge a book by its cover - or its title - sometime it can be intriguing....
