The White Giraffe (*****)

This book sounds like any other normal book, but unfortunately not. And as a librarian's daughter you can believe me. This book is about a girl (Martine), a Grandma (Gwyn), a game warden (Alex), a old women (Grace), a young man (Tendi), and a white giraffe (Jemmy).

This book is 189 pages long! I would give it five out of five stars(*****). I chose to read this book because you don't go to the library every day and see a book called "The White Giraffe" on the shelf!

I continue to enjoy all of your reviews -- I love getting ideas for my own students. Thanks, Emma!

You're doing some wonderful writing, Emma. I can tell you're thoroughly enjoying the books you are reading - and really soaking them. Not because you're a librarian's daughter - because you're great all on your own! Being a librarian's daughter is only a bonus.
