Esperanza Rising (****)

This book is about a rich girl who's father gets killed by bandits while he was out tending to the cattle with some of the other servants. Esperanza, her Mother, her Abula, and the servants are all heartbroken that he got killed. Esperanza's uncle, Tio Luise offers to marry her mother, but her mother refuses to. Finally after Tio Luise on purposely Burns their house down her mother says yes to the proposal. Her mother truly does not want to marry him so she has a plan. Elyssa is running away and her mean classmate, Heather is guilty of something plus her Mom is coming back from Holly wood Sammy really has to figure this all out. I really enjoyed listening to this audio. Read/listen to this book to find out what happens next!

Zoobreak is about a monkey who got kidnapped from a girl. This is actually the sequel to Swindle. I didn't like this book to much because it explains a lot of crimes and animal abuses. But there was a happy ending too!
